It has been my pleasure of being one of the members of the coordination body and the applied research coordinator for the Single Window Initiative Estonia. The initiative works with cross-sectoral digitalisation of supply chains in Estonia and beyond. It is a cooperation network of businesses, associations, academia and public sector. www.singlewindow.ee.

Business & IT Consultant at EU IT Agency EU-LISA

Research Team member. Responsible for Research and Technology Monitoring Reports and discussion papers. Topics: data quality and reporting for large-scale IT systems, application of new technologies (such as blockchain and distributed ledger technologies) in EU large-scale IT systems.

DTLF for European Commission

Since December 2017, I have been an ad-hoc expert to Digital Transport & Logistics Forum. It is a working group gathering for the European Commission DG MOVE.

Technology transfer at TTU Mektory

TTU Mektory involved me for work on technology transfer after I had worked for several years on cooperation between academia and logistics businesses. the main task was to work out two business plans  – one for the centre’s activities on the very same university & business cooperation strategy, the other for the university Satellite Programme.

Teaching curricula development

I have been participating and leading the teaching curricula development for both university and professional education is something that balances the research and work with businesses. It allows to double-check the needs of both sides and brings schools and businesses closer to each other.

EU strategy and training needs

Worked in collaboration with the Estonian State Chancelley on input for Estonian Priorities in the European Union for the period 2011-2015 and on the analysis and suggestions for training of EU-related state officials 2007-2011.
